» FRESHMEN

1968:   It was a year of seismic social and political change. From the burgeoning anti-Vietnam war and civil rights movements in the United States. The music scene was once again set by the "Beatles" and the "Rolling Stones", and fashion flirted with see through blouses and midis and maxis skirts joined the Mini Skirt as part of the fashion trends.

» SENIORS

1971:   This could well be the year that marked the start of the digital age when the Microprocessor was invented. In 1971, extremely brief, tight-fitting shorts, called hot pants, were a fashion craze for girls and young women. Throughout the period, trousers for both sexes, though flared at leg bottoms, were very tight and revealing from the lower thighs up. Platform shoes also appeared on the fashion scene in 1971 and often had soles two to four inches thick. 1971 saw the emergence of hard rock as one of the most prominent subgenres of rock music. Bands like Alice Cooper and Deep Purple were highly popular by 1972.

as time progresses, so shall we:
from childhood to adolescence, dependence to interdependence, bigotry to understanding, follower to leader, freshman to Senion, from LaReine to the future…
